Who is it for?
The Elder is for anyone who wants the best of the range and doesn't want to think about upgrades for a long time. It's well suited to heavy multitasking, video editing, content creation, more demanding software, or simply anyone who wants top-end performance that'll stay capable for years.
The processor
The AMD Ryzen 7 5700G is an 8-core, 16-thread chip that boosts up to 4.6GHz. It's a genuinely powerful processor — one of the best you'll find without paying for a discrete GPU. The built-in Radeon Vega 8 graphics handles everything from 4K video playback to lighter gaming without needing a separate graphics card.
Storage and speed
The 1TB NVMe SSD gives you serious space without sacrificing speed. Windows, all your apps, your files, and a large media library — all on a fast solid-state drive with no moving parts. No spinning hard drives slowing things down.
The motherboard
Built around the Gigabyte A520M K V2 — a rock-solid Micro-ATX board with 4 SATA ports for up to 4 internal drives, 2 RAM slots supporting up to 64GB DDR4, a full-length PCIe x16 slot for a powerful future GPU, and an M.2 slot for a second NVMe drive. The Elder is built with serious headroom for the future.
WiFi
Comes with a TP-Link Archer T2U Nano USB WiFi dongle. Dual-band — up to 200Mbps on 2.4GHz for reliable range throughout the house, and 433Mbps on 5GHz for faster speeds when you're near the router. Combined bandwidth up to 600Mbps. Compact enough to leave plugged in and forget about it.
